Gizilaghac National Park
A species of animal belonging to the Squirrel family of the Predatory order of the Mammalia class. It is a widespread mammal in Azerbaijan and is found in many natural landscapes from plains to mountain forests. Its body length is 60 cm, and its tail length reaches 25 cm. Its body is broad-chested, with short paws, long fingers, a wide head, a small, thin face, and large ears. Its fur is thick, long, and dark gray. It has a black mask with a white border on its face. There are 5-7 wide black or white rings on its tail. Its claws are short and the fingers are well developed. Its fur is dense and brownish-gray. It lives in underground burrows. It feeds on plant and animal food.
