It lays 1-2 eggs and incubates for 52-54 days. The chicks are fed in the nest for 3 months. The chicks fly out of the nest in June-July. They reach sexual maturity at the age of 4-5. In the wild, they live up to 40 years. Their diet consists of animal carcasses. They are found in the mountains of BQ and KQ.
