Belonging to the camelid family, llamas were bred in the Central Andes (Peru) more than 4000 years ago. Unlike camels, llamas do not have a hump, otherwise they have a lot in common. They are very social animals and live with others as a herd. Llamas can learn simple tasks after a few repetitions
