Tropical rainforests, savannas and grasslands across the Amazon Basin and Central America
The jaguar is the third biggest cat in the world after tigers and lions. Jaguars look a lot like leopards, which live in Africa and Asia, but their spots are more complex and often have a dot in the center. Unlike many other cats, jaguars love water and are quite good swimmers. Since the 1880s, they’ve lost more than half their territory.
