Ducks

The ducks have a cosmopolitan distribution. They may be found in both fresh water and sea water

Ducks are waterfowl of medium to small size (mostly smaller than the swans and geese) with a relatively short neck. This genus includes more than 110 species. Some duck species, mainly those in the temperate and Arctic Northern Hemisphere, are migratory; those in the tropics, however, are generally not
